As a designer, I’m a firm believer in using imagery to communicate ideas or data to bring them to life.  I just came across GOOD Magazine’s archive of their data visualizations.   It’s a wonderful and interesting way to digest a lot of information in a short amount of time.  I’ve often used sketches like this to help tell a story during Ideation session, because they make concepts memorable and easy to respond to.  And it brings out the wit and creativity in even the most self-proclaimed non-creative person in the room.
